Yesterday we met with Microsoft who showed us some really exciting new (and older) tools and resources they have developed. Some have an obvious educational application while others are just very cool pieces of software!

The 2008 Shareable Interfaces for Learning Workshop turned out to be a fascinating event in a very interesting space. I demonstrated Futurelab’s My-E (My Education), a prototype online visual environment that can support very young students to explore and express their own personal learning experiences, interests and aims.
