Fantastic news! Last night at the New Statesman New Media Awards 2007, Create-a-Scape won the Education category. Congratulations to Clara, Graham, everyone at HP who contributed to building and trialling the software, and a huge thank you to all the teachers and students who have played a role in its development.

Free VoIP on mobiles comes of age - well almost

I came across the VoIP symbian program called Fring recently.
Being the owner of a Nokia N93 brick I saw that it was compatible. So I decided to give it a try. Within minutes I was able to make calls and text through my WiFi Skype connection out to other Skype users for free.
